Greetings students of Cameroon Bible institute is a great time with you people I wan to share what I have learn from Chapter one of our cause on CREATIVE BIBLE STUDY METHODS , I have learn about the Origin of the Bible and I have seen that the Bible is the written word of God and He use 40 different men to write down his words. And in the written of the Bible he inspired the writers.
Some of the writers wrote down exactly what God said: Jeremiah 36:2
And other writers wrote what they experienced or what God revealed concerning the future: Revelation 1:19.

The purpose of the Bible : the Bible it self has it purpose 2 Timothy 3:16-17 it says All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfectly prepared and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
And we have the major divisions of the Bible we have the Old Testament and New Testament the Bible is also divided into into books and chapters. So we have 66 books in the Bible the Old Testament has 39 and the New Testament have 27.
Even though the Bible is divided and written by so many men the Bible has on Theme the Bible reveals the mystery of God’s plan which is the unifying theme of the Bible. It is the revelation of Jesus Christ as the savior of sinful mankind. Jesus explained how the old Testament centered on Him:And he said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you, while I was still with you: that all things concerning me which were written in the law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled”.
Luke 24:44 .
Diversity of the Bible diversity is the different ways which God deals with people and the different ways in which they responded to him.
Old Testament divisions we have the Law , history, poetry and prophecy. There are five books of the law these books are Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, numbers, Deuteronomy. We have the books of the history there are Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 and 2 Samuel, one and two Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther. The books of the Poetry are Job, psalm, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon. The books of prophecy we have the major prophets and minor prophets. it does not mean that because we call them major prophets and minor prophets no one is greater than other Major prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, lamentation, Ezekiel, Daniel, minor prophets Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zechariah, Haggai, Malachi.
New testament divisions we have the Gospel, History, Letters and Prophecy. We have the books of the Gospel, Matthew, mark, Luke, John. History the book is Acts. We have the books of the Letters there are Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 and 2 Thessalonians, 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, 1 and 2 Peter, 1,2 and 3 John,Jude.
And we have the book of Prophecy that is Revelation. And I have learn much.
