Greetings to all, I will like to share from what I learned in chapter 1 of creative Bible study methods.
I learned that the word scripture is also use to refer to God’s Word, and the word scripture comes from Latin which means “writing” and I learned that when the word scripture is used in capital letter it means sacred writing of one true God. I learned that the word Bible is not used in the Bible. But it’s a word which was used by men to title all of God’s Words. I learned the scriptures are to be used to teach doctrine,to reprove,to correct from evil and to teach righteousness, to this respect I understand as I Christian I should be ready and open whenever I study the word of God so that it can teach me, correct me and also direct me and for the word to carry out this purpose I most be able to approach the word prayerfully.
