Greetings to all, I will like to share from what I learned in chapter 3 of creative Bible study methods.
I learned the Bible was originally written in three languages, most of the old testament was written in Hebrew except the parts of the books Daniel and Nehemiah which was written in Aramaic and new testament was written only in one language which was Greek. From this I also learned that no translation is exact because no two languages are alike. I learned the word version means a Bible written in languages different from those in which God’s Word was originally written and that two main versions of the Bible are translation and paraphrases
Translation means word by word translation while paraphrases means thought by thought translation and this version are easy to be read because they are written in modern vocabulary and grammar

Summarily I learned the Bible was inspired by God, revealed to holy men who wrote God’s words in Hebrew Aramaic and Greek, interpreted into various languages resulting in exact translation and paraphrase version of the Bible.
