Chapter 7: Bible background.
I learn that, chronology of Bible history organizes event in a proper order.
Also I learn that most of the world, dating of time was divided into two major period.
B.C before the birth of Christ
A.D after the time of the birth of Christ.
Chronological history is divided into twelve major period. I will like to share on how Israel became a divided kingdom.
1) i learn from the lesson that, Samuel the last judge of Israel, established the kingdom of Israel and anointed Saul to be king. Saul, David, and Solomon each reign 40 years and during this time isreal attained the highest glory in thier history.
When the evil son of Solomon Rehoboam came to throne, the northern tribe revolted. And they established a separate kingdom of Israel. The kingdom in the south became known as the kingdom of Judah. For about 259 years isreal was divided into two kingdoms.
