Paragraphs in a chapter ralate to each other in different ways. Here I have learn how connectives are important in a paragraph.
Connectives reveals relationship within and between paragraph.
Examples of connectives and thier functions.
-“But”” or” are connectives that introduces a contrast.
– “Like”””As” they show comparison between things.
– the word “And” is another connective that add what have been stated .
-the word “If” introduces a conditional statement.
– the word “That” sets forth a purpose. It tells that something happened in order that a certain purpose would be accomplished.
– “for”” because””therefore” these words introduces reasons and results.
“In”” into “”with” they indicate relationship between concepts.
We also see in this chapter that words will often repeat in a paragraph and when words or phrase repeat, it is because they are important.
