In chapter three I’ve learned on the topic; Versions of the bible, the three languages in which the Bible was written (Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek). I’ve also come to understand that the word Version means a Bible written in a language different from those in which God’s Word was originally written in.
I’ve learned some differences between a translation and a paraphrase version of the Bible amongst which include the fact that; a translated version of the Bible gives as nearly as possible a literal word by word rendering in a different language as the word Version goes while a paraphrase is a restatement of the meaning.
A version means a Bible written in a language different from the original language which God’s word was originally written .
