Chapter 19: studying Bible poetry.
I have mark somethings in this chapter. I have seen that, when we study the form of a book in the Bible, we examine the way a book is organized to present the content..
Most of the Bible is in narrative form which present God’s Truth in stories which are easy to understand.
The five books of the Bible which are organized in poetic form are
Job
Psalms
Proverbs
Ecclesiastes
Song of Solomon.
Reasons why i should study Bible poetry is because, the poetic form of presenting God’s Truth is different from narrative form used in most of the Bible.
Bible poetry is also different from most forms of peotry with which I am aquainted.
The poetry of the Bible is written in the form of Hebrew poetry since most of the old testament was written in Hebrew.
