CHAP 5: THE ENEMY SATAN..
Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking for whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8.
In this chapter, I have seen our spiritual enemy, a powerful force of evil known as Satan. I have learned that Satan was originally created by God. When Satan was originally created, he was an angel of God. He was one of the cherubim class of Angels, holy,wise, beautiful,and perfect. He was a leader among the cherubs and is calla guidian or covering cherub. He was given a position on God’s holy mountain and apparently led in worship. But Satan didn’t retain This glorious position. The describe his fall Isaiah 14:12-15.
Satan fall from Angelic position occurred because of pride and rebellion. .. which resulted to: Banishment from heaven,. Corruption of character, perversion of power that’s, Satan power was once use for God’s glory. Now it is turned to descriptive and destructive purposes.
Destined to the lake of fire, affected other angels of God and it open an entrance of sin in the universe.
Satan now I spirit from is present in the world. He is not omnipresent, that’s why he employs a host of demons to accomplish his plans.
Satan also have attributes of a real personality. He is intelligent and subtle, emotional, deceitfu, fierce and cruel, and deceptive…..
Likewise children of God must be humble and obedient in using their gifts and callings for the services of God. If not we will use it with wrong intentions. God have mercy on us especially on this issue of “PRIDE” amongst believers.
