Chapter 8: Outlining, Marking, Charting

There are three basic skill as that will improve your Bible study:- 1.Marking, outlining, and Charting.
Marking is a method of emphasizing key Bible passages either by selecting some important verses.
You could use various colours and symbols. For example in place of a red colour for salvation you could use a cross; in place of using the green colour for growing things, you could use a flower,in place of using the blue colour to represent heaven, you could use a crown to market the Bible verses indicating the coming of Jesus Christ etc.
2. Outlining is a method of organizing study notes in summary form to use yourin ministry or future study. You select a theme, or title of the outline, you select the main points in the study or sub points depending on the importance of the passage you are studying.
You could use Roman numerals like I II III etc to indicate the main point, letters of alphabetical in capital letters for the sub points, and other sub topics you use Arabic numerals etc.

Your study can be beautifully arranged on either a horizontal or vertical chart.A chat summarizes in brief form what you learn and helps you remember it
