Chapter 17: Biographical study
This concerns the study of Bible personalities so as to learn from them.
To do an effective study:
* Select the person of interest from a particular book because sometimes a particular name could belong to many different Bible characters, so you have to be specific.
* Gather all you want to know about the person from the Bible.
*Analyze the information outlining important details like:
– name, relatives, his birth and place if birth, his childhood and early training,his geographical setting occupation, positive and negative character traits, his encounter with God, conversion,turning points in his life etc.
From your discoveries, you can then see what to apply from his life style and what to reject.
Finalize your study with a single sentence that remarks the key truth you got from that individual’s story.
