Chapter 3: The will of God
When we talk about the will, were talking about the power of choice.
There are three types of will operating in the world today:+
– self will, Satan’s will, God’s souvereign will- Boulema which is his determined plan for everything that happens in the universe.
There’s also the moral will of God, which is in the written word of God
Jesus Christ knew the will of God for his life and submitted to it.
Knowing God’s will is important because:
– it determines your eternal destiny
– it’s the basis of your relationship with God
– it provides direction
– it provides knowledge of the future
-it results in doctrinal soundness,
– it results in answered prayers
– it brings spiritual blessings
– it helps you to chastisement
– it results in success.
So we should do God’s will because we love him.
