THE MISSION OF THE CHURCH.
From my little understanding, the mission of the church is to prepare the way for the final establishment of the kingdom of God here on Earth.
Now, the world wide church, also known as the universal church, refers to the total body of believers in Christ around the globe. And we exist to spread the teachings of Jesus Christ and christian faith through missions and Evangelism.
This simply means that the primary mission of the church is to:
– go and make disciples through Gospel proclaim action.
– baptize them into the church of Jesus Christ.
– teach them the biblical commands of our Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19
This is our Central priority as a transform body of Christ.

THE MISSION OF THE CHURCH
Basically the mission of the church is to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God and make disciples throughout the world, teaching them exactly what Jesus taught us in
Mark 16:16(He who has believed [in Me] and has been baptized will be saved [from the penalty of God’s wrath and judgment]; but he who has not believed will be condemned. )
Matt 24:14(This good news of the kingdom [the gospel] will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end [of the age] will come.
Looking at this scriptures we see that the physical responsibility of every Church is to preach the gospel of Christ ,and this work has continued and has to continue because it did not end or cease when the original disciples died.

To this respect the church plays a major role in bringing salvation to the world

1- it stands us the light to the world Matt 5:14
2- it functions as the pillar and ground of the truth in a spiritually confused world 1 Timothy 3:15
Lastly we have to understand that God’s ultimate purpose is to gather, to reconcile all mankind to himself, and the church please and important role in that worthy effort

Luke 4:18 and 19., we are to continue with Jesus’s mission in the verses above- ” The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, be aussi he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.
In Mathew 28:18 Jesus said,” All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. God therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father,and of the son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you . And behold,I am with you always,to the end of age.
I belief this is the comission given to the church, to make disciples, baptize them and teach them the word of God so they obey and grow to maturity.
