Chapter 4: The World in the workd- Old testament
The bible is a message from God to communicate his plan and purposes to mankind. It includes stories about people of God,set apart to tzar his revelation and plandir the salvation of sinful man.
Looking at the 66 books of the old testament made up of laws, history, poetry and prophecy we see that,
– the laws introduced the beginning of the world, man , nations, sin and God’s salvation plan.
– The histories présent Israel as the race chosen by God to reveal his salvation plan
& The poetry presents the world in a Poetric style and finally the Poetric books which record prophecies given by God through anointed men of Israel and through it, God’s salvation plan states that Jesus will come for everyone not only for Isael
